Bio Brief:
After graduation from Liberty High School in 2002, Chad enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He applied for and successfully completed the highly competitive Rescue Swim School to become part of the Navy's elite Search & Rescue.
While deployed with the USS Lincoln Carrier Group and assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21, Gillies participated in the relief efforts for the victims of the December 2004 Tsunami in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. |

After his discharge from the Navy, Gillies was hired by Guardian Safety in June 2007 where we were able to utilize his leadership skills in the field as a Confined Space Rescue Technician.
In his free time, Gillies enjoys spending time with his fiancee and six month old son, and playing in the local football league. |
